About Us

Jia and Steve

Growing up, the kitchen wasn't just a room—it was a symphony of flavors, a chemical composition where fire and water danced in harmony. My father, Wei I Wang, was the original head chef at Great Castle Chinese Restaurant, and from him, I inherited more than just knife skills and recipes. He taught me life through the art of cooking, where each bite and morsel carries our family legacy.  Food is not merely sustenance; it can be a simple reflection of ourselves. At Jun BBQ, we honor the roots my family planted—technique, respect for ingredients, and the relentless pursuit of something Great. From our family to your family, Thank you.

The restaurant industry doesn’t just teach you how to survive—it sharpens you. I'm Judy and my previous professional culinary experience resided in the heart of Rowland Heights, managing the chaos and brilliance of Chengdu Taste. Amidst the fiery aroma of Sichuan peppercorns and the rhythm of bustling service, I learned what it takes to turn passion into perfection. Managing isn't just about logistics; it's about orchestrating an experience, balancing the yin and yang of kitchen and floor. At Jun BBQ, I bring that same fire, precision, and love for authentic flavors, ensuring every guest feels the 'touch of the heart' behind each dim sum. This isn't just food—it's a relentless pursuit of something real, something memorable.
